This is the guitar I’m building to test Roasted Poplar as body wood. So far it feels and responds very much like Alder.
I’m going to finish it next month, but if anybody’s interested you can reserve it now and pick the color while it’s in the sanding stage.
It’s going to have the latest version of my headless hardware that’s even more amazing than it was. It’s going to be self-locking — no tools required for stringing.
And, actually, this is the reason I’m looking for a deposit — I need it to fund the first batch of bridges. So the buyer will be contributing to the evolution of headless bridge technology ;)
