PICKUPS
We still need to choose pickups — let me know your thoughts in the comments! For a multiscale build, the options are Pegcity Pickups or BKP. Personally, I'd lean toward Pegcity: they make fantastic pickups, and Kris is even contributing one of the gifts for this project. So check out the models and let me know what you think.
COMMUNITY BUILD SPECS:
AXION 6 string, 25-26” multiscale
BODY - Roasted Swamp Ash
TOP - Spalted Maple (extra-thin and epoxy-soaked for stability)
NECK - Roasted Flame Maple (reinforced with carbon fiber rods)
FRETBOARD - Obsidian Ebony (thermally treated, dyed and stabilized hard maple)
