It’s been a few months since my last newsletter and those were extremely busy months. Most of my time was taken by the 4 guitars I’m preparing for the NAMM show, including an art installation for the Boutique Guitar Showcase.
I will not be able to attend NAMM myself, however. I need a visa to enter the US and for a foreign national in Canada, the wait times in US embassies are over 600 days. So I’m concentrating my efforts on shipping the instruments on time.

ENNEA BASS

PARALLAX

BARYON

AXION

This one is going to be an art piece at the entrance to the BGS section, so I’m not revealing what it looks like yet.

WEIRD EVENTS

There’s a crazy story that happened to the guitar I sent on a BGS tour. It deserves it’s own article, but in a few words:

  • it was sold during the tour and disappeared on the way to the customer

  • Fedex declared it was lost in a TRUCK FIRE

  • I got a lesson in not skipping insurance in the future

  • a month later it popped up on Reverb and got bought by a good customer of mine

  • it arrived with severe WATER DAMAGE

  • I bought it back and waiting for it to arrive

As I said. Crazy.
The reason I bought it back is I want to document how one of my guitars held up after all that. I will also document the restoration process at the end of which it will earn a fitting name - Phoenix, and hopefully find a new home.
