Difference between V1 and V2

I designed V1 first of all for my own use. I made it super low profile so that the tuning knobs are actually lower than the guitar top surface. And because it’s made out of 2 separate modules I can make custom layouts with different lengths. I machined Richlite base plates for that:

The downside of that is it requires a 2-step pocket with tight corners

V2 is a single piece module and only needs a simple flat pocket (although you can route different height for each module to get more action adjustment range.

You can find drawings and more pictures on the product pages: V1 - V2

I know many people worry about sharp string ends poking their hands, but it’s not an issue.

The reason I chose this type of locker over a classic set screw is that it’s much more reliable, especially with high strings. It has a lot of clamping area so it won’t brake strings, the loop itself holds the string really well and the direction of string tension actually tightens the screw.

Both versions come with a headpiece. It’s the same that I was using with my previous headless bridges.
