PARALLAX
I designed the Parallax model as a non-headless, carved top version of the Baryon, just like it was with my old models - Space and Neptune. The top horn and the belly cut geometry are almost identical between the two.
Initially, I had two versions of the carved top and I had to run some polls on which one to go with. My audience chose the more unconventional version and it was definitely the right choice - it fits the Padalka style so well.
SPECIFICATIONS
For this guitar I chose a combination of a Black Limba body and an Ovangkol neck with a Macassar fretboard. It looks amazing, sounds rich and balanced and it makes for a very stable neck.
It has my own Hardtail Bridge which uses the same saddles as the Headless one, but the body is made of Richlite (artificial Ebony)
And of course it’s full of custom little details like wooden knobs, pickup covers and a switch tip.

POST-PROTOTYPE CHANGES
Everything worked out great on this guitar, the only thing that I’m going to change is increase the body thickness by 5mm to better accommodate electronics. I had to trim the PCB on the switch to make it fit.
